Access Energy

Postby jasmit » Fri Feb 06, 2015 7:45 am

I have just received quote ($8600 after rebate) from Access Energy for a 5.00KW system which is a Hosola inverter and Sunrise panels 20 x 250W.
I have always been a bit sceptical of solar and but this salesman was quite a good talker!
Glad if anyone had any feedback on Access Energy?
And is the price fair?
It is a lot of money and I want to make sure I make the right decision.
Glad to hear what anyone has to say

Welcome to the Energy Matters Forums Jasmit :)

That quote sounds quite expensive, where are you located? Have you got a quote from Energy Matters yet?

a smaller 3.6kw system with energy matters is $7020 when I just checked online then.
Also I got a quote from Eurosolar for $5000 for a 5kw 20 panel system?
So seems pricing can be quite varied??

Prices will vary depending on quality of equipment. Cheap gear=cheap quotes, but what you go for depends on how much you value reliability and longevity, not to mention service and back-up if something does go wrong.

Where was the $7020 quote for (location), and what panels and inverter selection? I'm sure we can do better than that.

Gordon hit the nail on the head you only get what you pay for.

Eurosolar my suggestion is go to Whirlpool to the greentech section there is plenty to read about them.

I also do Solar but tiny compared to EM. However these are EM's forums, they are a reputable company.

You only get what you pay for if something goes wrong later on, you want someone that will actually provide service down the track.
