Strappping LiFePO4 batteries

I have been aware of battery strapping as seen in this article http://www.formula-hybrid.org/wp-content/uploads/A123_AMP20_battery_Design_guide.pdf. Page 32 and 4-18psi on the battery package.

Has anyone seen any information on strapping Winston batteries?

I have two 20mm plywood end plates with a square tube across the ends and two long bolts clamping them together. I doubt I have anywhere near that pressure.

Thanks,
Dave

Winston finally gave me the number I was after. Took about 4 or 5 exchanges ... they even sent me a video on their strapping process.

The final answer for WB-LYP200AHA was a 30kg "clamping force". I understand this to be a force of 30kg spread over the length and height the battery case. I work this out to be about 2-3PSI.

Similar to the article I linked to so I will go with that.
