Hi Folks,

I wasn't sure where to post this, so apologies if this is an inappropriate location.

I am seeking a quality/qualified installer to install a 6 panel PV setup (with capacity for a total of 9 panels) on a tile roof in the west of Melbourne. I have Radiant PV mounting hardware products (but not enough to complete the job), nevertheless I am keen to utilise the Radiant products I have and source the remaining parts.

The job is not big, but I will accept only a qualified installer with a proven track record of experience. Any advice or endorsements appreciated via direct message.

Thanks, Mark

Hi David, thanks for the reply.

I originally considered Energy Matters, however looking through thier website it gives the impression that they only provide 'mainstream' solar solutions i.e. the standard grid connected or grid with battery.

Mine is an off grid setup, and the only work I require is the installation of the roof racking, panels, and wiring to the combiner box. Some installers may not be interested given the DIY approach on some aspects, which I totally understand.

Happy to work with Energy Matters, assuming this is a job that they would be interested in performing. At the moment trying to find a good installer is like finding a gold chest from a sunken pirate ship... near impossible :D

Thanks, Mark

My wife makes awesome cakes, and our coffee machine does a mean latte!! :D

On top of that I'm not a bad tradies assistant ;)

All this up for grabs for the installer... a literal treasure trove of goodness

SPS = Standalone Power System/s used to be called RAPS = Remote Area Power system/s

The reasoning behind the change in name a while back and the acronym, there not just in remote locations anymore. Mine for instance is in Dandenong, I've installed them in Brighton, Bulleen and a bunch of other places around Victoria, as well far off the beaten track.
