Survey on Renewable Energy in Australia

Hi Everyone,

I am a Year 11 student conducting my Senior Geography Project on Renewable energy in Australia. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could please fill out my short survey on the topic. The hypothesis that I am testing is 'whether Australia's reluctance to embrace Renewable energy is due to the lack of understanding of the issue.'

Thank You :D

Welcome to the Energy Matters Forums Tifty73 :)

Interesting and somewhat puzzling hypothesis you have there, rooftop solar installations for business and domestic residences are happening at a phenomenal rate at the moment, as are large scale solar and wind farms. I think it is set to be another record year for small solar, so people aren't exactly reluctant to install PV systems.

On the other hand we have the current government, who are doing all they can to support the burning of fossil fuels, instead of converting the country to clean renewable energy.

I wish you luck and I've done the survey.

Consider that people here are probably more knowledgeable than most on the subject or renewable energy.

I would also suggest some changes depending on how many have done the survey.
The power options list for price, is that cost an install cost for that source or the supply cost once its built, or is it both?
The % share between renewable and non renewable is that installed capacity or supplied capacity?
The nuke question should reference nuclear electricity production.
