Hobart City Council has had these for a while now, finally saw one parked the other day so took some photos of it. :D

HCC also has some separate natural gas powered trucks. I'm not sure how either the hydbrid or gas trucks compare financially with conventional diesel powered trucks, but they've given both alternatives a real world try in recent years.

Why not. Real working vehicles, trucks, taxi, delivery vans, Stand to benefit the most from Electric drive. They do the miles to make the savings in running cost and environmental impact worth the trouble.

Toll have a green 10 ton pure battery electric truck in Brisbane that they are testing for a few years now.

The prius should have been a Lite Ace.
