AGL announce GFIT reduction..

In today's mail, a letter advising that from Sept 1st, the 8c AGL Premium, will be dropped.

This means that the old 68c will drop to 60c.. :(

One could speculate that with the Govt. declaring that retailers WILL pay 7.7c per KwH, then they have no intention of paying another 8c as a premium..

OK - That means that there is NO advantage in remaining with AGL, as EA will be paying the same rates, BUT, their electricity rates are about 1c less ( if I remember correctly..)
