Hi I will just add up the cost of the box of dead cfls,
Was looking at LEDs but some mates that got them have noticed dead ones in the light,
On turning to the shop ( bunnings)No warrants on globes.
At Melton not to many shops to go to...
Ok name some good ones to get.

These are 2 types I am using but I can't guarantee that they are "good ones" . I have no idea if they are going to last the long lifetimes quoted.

Choice have done a report on CFL's ....

Best warm up time was 18s (to 80% of full brightness). Lifetime testing is still ongoing but in general they are finding them reliable - give out specified light, last a long time etc.
