The NSW government has just slashed the feed-in-tariff rate for solar households from 60 cents per kilowatt hour down to 40 cents from July 1st, 2011:

- leaving more than 20,000 consumers in the dark

- and placing up to 5,400 clean energy jobs at risk

The Australian Solar Energy Society (AuSES) is organizing a public rally on Wednesday 18th May, 2011 at 11:30 am in the Barnet Long Room at Customs House, Circular Quay as a call to action for the Government & a chance to oppose a decision which poses a serious threat to the future of the entire solar industry.
