NSW Net Metered Solar Group Buy

Just thought I'd alert everyone that a Group Buy is now open for registration. If you have a system connected in NSW under net metering you can register your interest in being a part of the group discount. It's being organised by PowerGroup Purchasing and you can register at:

www.powergrouppurchasing.com/netmetersolar

Since the Solar Bonus Scheme closed in NSW more than 75,000 households have been connected under net metering and the elctricity companies are laughing all the way to the bank.

Now it's time for these people to stand together and get a better deal for the electricity they export back to the grid!!

.
Just watch for the "Real Discount".

A similar stunt was floated some time back and mongrel "TrewEnergy" offered a Special Rate to participants.
17%... :o .... WOW .. how good is that..

The fine print showed that all the massive discount was taken up with HIGHER base figures, JUST for those customers.

From speaking with PowerGroup Purchasing, they are going to issue a tender to ALL electricity retailers to seek a competitive FIT for net metering.

It could be a brilliant opportunity for a retailer from outside NSW to secure a significant % of the NSW energy market if they offer a reasonably high FIT.

The more registrations they have the more influence they will have with the electricity retailers.
