this might be a stupid question, but i don't understand why you cannot turn on the lights at night.

Storing energy as hot water, not in a battery, so cant use the lights without using grid power, or when there is a blackout.

but I marvel every day at the HotWater.. totally free hot water, that rarely ever fails and then there is the GAS which is not on anyway..

Next thing WILL be battery storage.. but I am waiting, waiting, waiting..

Yes, the promised price reductions seem to keep vanishing into the distance!

There is still not a huge choice for DIY batteries either.

i think the electric car manufacturers absorb all the batteries. volkswagen is looking for gigantic amounts of batteries.
