They probably have no experience with Lithium batteries, so are trying to talk you into the old Lead-acid chemistry that they know.

EM ran a 6.4kWh LGChem battery pretty hard in a test a year or 2 ago, and as far as I know it performed well. Loomberah weather and astronomy including live solar radiation intensity and UV + Gunagulla aquaponics, organic eggs and cherries
