Hello everyone. Made a quick video on Epever MPPT Charge Controller. While going through it I realized that Gel batteries do not have to be equalized. Is this true or should I worry that Epever does not have an equalize for Gel Batteries..? Hope someone can help. Thanks.

Most gel batteries should not be equalised.

Go by what the battery manufacturer says for voltage set points, charging times etc, not the inverter manufacturer.

Thank you for the replies. I just had to be sure I was correct about Gel batteries not needing equalization. Unfortunately buying batteries here in Asia does not always give specs on batteries other than voltage, amps and "maybe" gel, AGM, etc. Thanks for confirming.
