Australian solar inverter shortage update

Most regular readers of this forum would be aware of the inverter shortage situation, but for those who aren't:

... an interesting strategy some companies are using is to use inverters that aren't yet certified. They install the system, but tell the customer it can't be turned on until the inverter receives certification, which will be "soon". :roll:

This isn't just one of those industry rumours, we know it to be true - heard it from the horse's mouth so to speak. I guess they must be 100% sure that certification is going to happen.
