Underground Solar conduit install advice needed

Postby Thewomb » Wed May 22, 2019 3:30 pm

Hi there, I'm about to run some 4mm2 solar cable under ground and am not sure of the conduit type to use to be code compliant.

i know indoors its to be HD UPVC Grey marked solar every 1200mm and for 240V underground orange HD @ 600mm deep with warning tape above but whats the expectation for solar cable? itll be running about 600V

thanks

Underground Orange HD @ 600mm (actually it's really a minimum of 500mm to the top of the conduit to be accurate) deep with warning tape above, when it exits the ground back to HD with a T rating, etc by the way it can actually be orange however it must have UV stabiliser in it, if exposed to the SUN and then the applicable labelling.
