Just got a notification from Retailer-Energy Australia, declaring that AusGrid has made some changes to charges..
The stated that they would be changing the actual times for TOU Tariffs , according to time of the year..
and deleting PEAK altogether in the "Off-Seasons"
So there will be TOU in Summer - Nov to March and Winter - June to August
Also - the actual PEAK period will change for SUMMER 1400 to 2000hrs and WINTER 1700 to 2100hrs
In the Off-Seasons - there will be just Off-Peak and Shoulder..
Naturally they put the prices up
Electricity rates from 2 July 2018
PEAK 59.3 (dropped from 60.4c)
SHOULDER 31.0
Off-PEAK 19
whilst the DAILY CHARGE remains at $1.06

Funny how the Governments are talking about REDUCED costs.. Go Figure..
