Replacement 2KW INVERTER

Postby Tracker » Wed May 09, 2018 2:05 pm

..
For some obscure reason, I decided that I should check the neighbours' PV Systems..

To my dismay, one was in fault condition and it seems it's gone to Inverter-Heaven..

I have NO IDEA about the latest Inverters.. So what's the best choices for a 2kW 350V budget inverter..

Any recommendations would be be appreciated..

350V? That's an odd ball one isn't it?

If that is the max string voltage of the existing old inverter, then just aim for one that has reasonable efficiency at whatever string voltage exists now, as I doubt there would be many Vmax=350V inverters around now.

JFY would do nicely at 2kw

or if your looking for a cheap 2nd hand one.
I have 3 JFY JSI-2000 sitting here that are in operational from system upgrades.

Not currently on the list, correct.

They may appear again in the future, who knows.
Considering what the CEC stick the manufacturers/importers or whomever on a per device, which is not cheap.

Any existing installs are fine and any existing product that's installed is fine as well and where a like for like is installed is no issue after all it not they were not previously complaint, and if the approval expires it's not like the product suddenly is any less functional than it was the day before.

Like the use by date on food. The food is suddenly off at when the date arrives. For PCE stuff it's got a lot to do with extracting money for approval to sell it.
