Hi Guys,
Any chance of solar panels getting damaged if getting them delivered by post?
Thank mazza

Hi Mazza,

Depends on how its packed and how big it is. Australia post has some size restrictions that stop you from being able to send panels much bigger than 20 or 30W. We have higher breakage rates using Australia post than we do with couriers, so we typically use a courier.

Though ... there's always a chance things can break when in transit. We offer insurance for those who are concerned about breakage.

regards,

Max

Anyone ordering panels without insurance ... the key is checking to see if the good are intact (they will usually rattle if they are broken) before signing for the goods.

The couriers will try to get you to sign before checking .... DON'T SIGN until you know the goods arrived intact.

Of course we always recommend insurance.
