Power Dumping Voltage?

Postby harry201 » Sat Feb 13, 2016 8:11 pm

Hi all,
I have now finished putting up all my solar panels. With my wind turbine and solar most days I have to much power for the system. I have 12 x 2v 1200 batteries with them connected to 2 x controllers that have adjustable dump level. Currently set at 28.7v before they dump to a heater.
My question is: can I raise this up and if so to what to be safe and not cook the batteries.

Your at about the limit. If you have not already done so, you should really be reading the battery specifications for the details.
