Energy Monitor for PVOutput

Postby Windaroo Resort » Mon Dec 09, 2013 11:53 am

Hi All
Looking to monitor net power and consumption via pvoutput. What's the best device out there that can do this ? Some say they have usb interface but is that for single downloads or continuous. There are a few Watts devices out there just want to ensure I get the right ones :geek:

Sorry if this question has been asked before
Cheers
Glenn

PVbeancounter is one way ties into the SMA via a windows computer can run 24 x 7, some use a cheap netbook other have used Linux on a PII.

Then some have used one consumption monitor of one brand or another - Check out whirlpool.net.au (greentech lounge) there are quite number of threads about this.

I use an Flukso . It connects directly to PVOutput

Got mine from here:
https://www.flukso.net/shop

I initially used Current clamps but after a meter box upgrade I fitted 2 x din rail kw/hour meters that send data to the Flukso and then to PVoutput.
