Solar hydronic heating works well. Evacuated tube array on the roof or ground mounted near the building with a large insulated water storage tank, the hot water is circulated through convection units ("radiators") indoors, with fans to spread the heat around the building. They will obviously only heat, not cool.
RCACs can be solar powered and are a very efficient use of solar power, as with large systems you can do the heating and cooling work of up to nearly 4 times the PV array rating. Smaller systems have coefficients of performance of 5-7, so multiple smaller units would be more effective than one large unit.
However, if the hall is not well insulated, you would be largely wasting your time- insulate first!
