In NSW has Gross Metering your metered for export and import power at the same time, so its technically possible to rig up a 230ac to 250-350DC power supply feed into your inverter input.
for a couple hundred $$$ you can easy make such a set up, Im supriised it took this long to figure it out :)

You can rob a bank if you want, scam center link or make a fraudulent insurance claim too. There is nothing stopping you doing it, apart from your own conscience.
If you do such things then you have to be willing to accept the consequences.
I think our country has enough freeloaders as is.
