Well,Well, Well-Being-Green - All Gone $$$

Financial support for wind and solar power in Australia - rebates, grants and feed in tariffs - can be a nightmare in navigating all the rules and regulations. Ask your questions and view related information here.

No but others have. The Administrator has the proof and should be the one to act. But being self appointed by those slimy a-holes from Well Being Green I suspect some collusion there. I can't prove it of course....

This from the Whirlpool Forum. I know who this franchise is but I won't name them.

Businesses like mine that are owed in excess of $100K in rebates, are struggling to pay our suppliers, and the suppliers are struggling as a result. The domino effect is bound to occur if something is not done, and soon.

I am broke; we are on the verge of losing our house. I don’t know what to do. I have contacted Australian consumer watchdog, ASIC, federal police and the NSW police. I have had no response.

My issue is that no one wants to do anything. Wellbeinggreen is not the only shonky out there and yet it ORER continues to allow this to happen. How many of you out there started a business with a phone number and a PO Box???"

Slightly off topic but I am also going to publicly name an inverter manufacturer shortly who is not honoring their warranties, unless they act very soon and fix the situation.

I'm fed up with using my company's time arguing with them (yes I work for a Solar company - but we don't sell much Solar these days)

They are in China but have an Australian office. I have already confirmed with Fair Trading they must honor their warranties on all the goods they make and sell here.

Thanks Tracker. No need to feel sorry for me - unless I lose my job.... I appreciate the support though.

Like the cut and paste above from the other forum, (that is a company in QLD with about 10 franchisees) a lot of small companies will probably go under from Well Being Green. We have a few of the people in our group in a similar situation (not really franchisees - more like sub agents) who are owed money from that rip off. I'm sure there are plenty of individuals who are owed STC money as well but it's mainly companies on the creditors list.

If I don't get an answer about those inverters by the end of this week I will take it public. This has come about because another big Solar distributor in Sydney went broke recently. This Aussie company was having the Chinese company rebadge the inverters with the Aussie company's name. Now they have gone broke, the Chinese company does not want to honor the warranties on the rebadged inverters.

My thoughts are: firstly the customers who have these inverters installed have no warranty at this point. Also the rebadged inverters are no different from what the Chinese are selling under their own name. How long till they stop honoring the warranty on their own brand?

I have sent a complaint already to the Clean Energy Council. This is another big hole in the Solar industry. The Dept of Fair Trading is responsible for making sure inverters meet Australian Standards, and the Clean Energy Council compiles the list of approved inverters and regulates the installers, but no one is regulating the inverter companies to make sure they are not a bunch of con artists.

However, I will start a new thread if it comes to exposing them.

At the risk of being blatantly political, we have:

1. The solar industry in crisis in much of the country. The issues in this thread are just the tip of the iceberg unfortunately.

2. The largest (coal-fired) power station in Victoria is on the edge of bankruptcy with massive debts. (This is also the least CO2 emitting coal plant in Vic by the way).

3. Government trying to get a different coal plant in Vic, plus another one in SA, to permanently close.

4. Underlying electricity demand continues to rise, somewhat masked whilst the cooler than usual summer weather persists (but it will be hot sometime...).

5. Oil is nearly $100 per barrel despite much of the world's economy falling in a hole.

6. The Australian oil refining industry continues to decline, with media reports that Caltex is considering ending local production as there's more money selling crisps and chocolate bars than in producing and selling petrol. That leaves Australia with 4 working oil refineries, down from 7 at present and 10 a few years ago.

The only rational conclusion I can come up with is that we're heading for an outright crisis with energy at some point. Electricity and petrol, which would account for the majority of energy use and expenditure for most people and are absolutely essential to everyday life, are being credibly threatened both in terms of physical supply and price. Just wait until there's a drought (hydro electricity) or some sort of international turmoil (petrol) and it's not going to look pretty.

If there's one thing that this country desperately needs it's a sensible energy policy...

Rant over :D

According to someone I know, two of those WBG bastards have skipped to Pakistan. The others are running these new companies set up in Alexandria. All have operating websites:

http://southerncrosscarbon.com.au/

http://www.genco.com.au/

http://www.cashcarbon.com.au/

It would not surprise me if they are still funnelling money back to Pakistan.

I bet there is a lot of people who do not know their past and are dealing with them for STC trading.

That is where ASIC should have stepped in and could have at the very least barred them from being directors. But nothing at all has been done to these guys.

They got away with it......so far.......

This guy below, I confronted at his house with my Sales Manager, and he told us a bunch of BS.

Ali Obaid - Cheif Financial Officer and now Director of Cash Carbon.

^^ Very true, only trouble is, is it requires sensible politicians to come up with it.

Don't hold your breath!
