Hi Tracker,

Thanks for all that info, would be very interested in a better copy of that efficiency graph, can't really read it as it is.
I am running 7+7 but seem to only get around 225Vpv most of the time.
My initial issue with apparent "hunting" doesn't seen to be a problem. Must have actually been clouds pretty much every 10 minutes all day!
Still a bit disappointed to only get around 1900W out of 2500W of panels on a warm sunny day.
Pvoutput graphs seem to indicate inverter clipping after 11am or so, and not much difference in output comparing 25deg vs 35 deg day
Inverter temp generally <40deg with fan.
Am a bit disappointed I didn't go for 8+8, but can't change it now the Vic PFIT cutoff has expired.

Can't help but think that the CMS2000 could squeeze more out of the panels though, another 1kWH per day of feedin would add upt o fair fair few $ over the course of a year.

I am still running Rev1.0 firmware. Got newer firmware from CMS but can't seem to install it in Win XP or 7, comes up with errors and doesn't do anything.
Would really like to see Ipv figures and Ppv from CMS200 as well as the current Vpv to get a clearer idea of inverter efficiency in various situations.

You can see the original document here.. ^^

I must admit that thes graphs suggest only about 1% difference between the MAX of 11 panels, and 12 with 6+6.. 7+7 and 8+8 -- Not a BIG difference

Cooling fans.

I run an PS3 fan
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/USB-4-Fan-Co ... 054wt_1139
on one my units. Fits real well and only cost a few $.
It is powered off my usb feed going to the serial to usb convertor.

Drops temp ~10 c on hot days.
