Missing panel & inverter types

Postby RoofClimber » Fri Jan 06, 2012 8:12 am

The website claims that there is a large database of panel & inverter models but using the iPhone 4 I can only access 3 panel types & 2 inverter types. I have installed REC 245 PE BLK panels and a SMA 3000HF inverter and neither of these are available to select when configuring the settings. How can I generate a report for my system?

Hi Roofclimber,

We haven't updated the app for quite a while, should be happening sometime soonish (we have a few other projects to be completed first). We will let you know once we do.

If you are in a hurry to run some reports, the iphone developer that originally developed the app has sold the software to Solmetric (http://www.solmetric.com/ - maker of the suneye) and it is available for purchase via the app store. I believe it is called Solmetric iPV, which has a much larger database of solar modules and inverters. However, price is a little steep as it is sold as a tool for solar installers.

Why not just generate a design from SMA sunny design 2.3 then you will get the output analysis etc
