Can I connect a generator to a grid connect system?

Jehu,

With any system you are condinplating the ruling electrical authority will not pass any system of small size that does not automatically sense the mains and disconnect when there is a power blackout.
All solar inverters auto island when mains is lost.

Wow, I almost forgot about this thread.

Bush_Magpie. That's the whole idea. I'm pretty sure I mentioned earlier in the thread that the system would have to automatically isolate itself from the grid during grid failure.
