I was referring to the one you received from the assessor:

I found out I needed one with the date on it as no one will now touch you without it.

As for supplying the email address, I am sure I also provided the email address to my assessor as well. I wouldn't be surprised if many others also provided an email address. So I put the question out to others that have received their Energy Assessment - Did you supply an email address? Did you receive your Assessment Report (from the govt) in the (snail) mail or email?

hi guys, i am an Assessor and thought i'd like to explain the whole report saga.

once an assesment is done online by an assessor he has the immediate option of viewing the report straightaway in PDF format. this is the same report which is supposed to be mailed by the government but as they are deliberately stalling they have not mailed them out. This is why one householder cannot receive their report for months while another can get theirs is 4 days. There is no processing department with DEHWA. The reports are automatically created via the website instantaneous;y and made into easy to print pdf, so your assessor can give it to you on the spot if asked. and yes it prints with the submission date etc.

I am 99% sure my assessor was connected to the internet during the assessment as he had a USB wi-fi modem plugged into his laptop. I've since been emailed a PDF copy of the report, and it also has the date of the assessment on it. I had signed-up (over the phone) for a pre-approved green loan through ANZ on 10 Feb - just over a week before the govt. made their announcement, and received the PDF version of my report before they closed the green loan applications (although because I was already pre-approved, the cut-off date isn't until later in March, and I still have 3 months to draw-down the loan funds - why anyone would wait, I don't know!) and the $10k will be in my account by the end of the week.

Ok i was just finishing up an assessment and realised why the date wasn't on the report like that user said. its because the assessor had given him the report prior to submitting and finalising the report. when you have finished the report but still haven't hit submit you can view report for errors if you print it this stage the date submitted would say pending. that is why the date was missing. hope this helps!

Thanks for clarifying that for me and everyone else who was querying it.
I actually got another assessment report emailed to me the other day by the Government. So I have ended up with 2 assessments with the dates on them. Have no idea why they bothered to send me another one. Not received one through the mail though, not that I needed it as we got our loan with the first assessment that was emailed to us by the Government

Typical stuff-up by the government yet again. Some people are sent TWO reports while thousands of others have NONE.

Let me update you little bit about green loan. The energy efficiency and renewable energy functions of the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts were transferred to the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency. The Minister for the Environment, Heritage and the Arts announced changes to the popular Green Loans Program. These changes ensure the program can meet the strong demand for free home sustainability assessments and aims to help improve the quality of assessments being delivered under the program.
