voltage difference with solar panels in parallel

Hi All
I have 2 solar panels with different VMP one is 17.82v the other is 18.9v is this to great to run these panels in parallel

Welcome to the Energy Matters Forums David :)

Those panels will work ok in parallel, you'll only lose a slight amount of power if using an MPPT type charge controller. If using a PWM regulator, then you wouldn't notice any difference, except maybe on a very hot day as the battery approaches full charge.
