distance required between chimney cap and solar panels on 20

I have a 20 foot travel trailer that I will install a mini wood stove.
Also installing solar array on the flat roof. The chimney flue is
3 inches and the cap is 5 inches. How high should the chimney cap be above the solar array?

Welcome to the Energy Matters Forums Anne :)

The chimney should be as far away from the array as possible, both for reasons of minimising ash fallout, resin accumulation etc, and also to minimise shading of the panels. Best to park the trailer so that the panels are upwind of the chimney too. The higher the chimney the better for smoke dispersion, but you don't want to be shading your panels, even shading part of a panel can significantly reduce its output.
