ABB list this at 2900W, maybe this is a typo or are these older models?
The spec sheet on EM's site has 2900W as well.

I'll have to get the warehouse guys to check that out- the spec sheet in the system says 2600W (where I got it from ), but the brochure says 2900W.

My initial posting was correct, ABB advise 2600W is the rated input, 2900W is max input.

As they are, out of the box, these inverters do not comply with recent additions to AS5033, but an external buzz box is available (for $70 with an inverter purchase) to bring them into compliance.

Can you please explain the buzz box in relation to AS5033
Network = Powercor .. Retailer = Origin .. Installed Christmas 2008
Latronics PV-1200 feed by 8xTrina TSM DC-01 .. 170watt = 1360watts DC in .. 1096watts AC out .. 5+years later 990watts ac out

David will know the full detail, but I understand it is to provide an audible warning of a ground fault.

What AS-5033 requires an external warning solution/device in such a way so it will be noticed at the very least by the owner primarily for GFI. The ABB UNO's have a voltage free relay internally in them that will activate on pretty much any sort of fault including GFI, it allows them to comply with the requirement. You either have to buy a "buzzbox" or come up with your own solution that will allow for compliance, the UNO's could have a comms option installed for a cost as an optional extra which could/would comply with AS-5033 as long as it lets something/someone know in someway.

I install either an LED strobe or beeper on inverters where it's generally not STD to have comms to the web or there is a distinct lack of comms available to the web.

The last couple of jobs I've done and the next one there's effectively no comms available to the web which makes it a "buzzer or light" as really the only choice.

A couple of these units installed on a split phase supply (460Vac w/centre tap neutral) SWER Line, my own warning alert box installed.

There are still a fair number of these inverters left in the Qld warehouse, so we are dropping the price to just $600 + GST.
