Not disputing what TESLA achieved and started, but there are some things that are most impractical.
NASSA was toying with the idea of a rocket and long wire etc. etc. but strangely THEY have not done it. With all their potential and ability, one would think it would have been done IF it was practical.

I guess that we will one day find out the truth, but I can only stress IMHO -- That 99.9% of these things on U=Toob, are fake.. Most done with magnets and hidden magnetrons etc.

One could say that the simple act of mixing Sodium Nitrate, Carbon and sulphur and putting a match to it, is getting Free-Energy..

I know that there ARE vested interests in ensuring that "Free Energy Machines" NEVER reach the market.. ie. the Fuel Giants, who would see their industries collapse, and the OIL companies whose nations would collapse, but I could also imagine that Political-Powers would LOVE to see the end of the Oil-Wars, and tell the Sheiks to go bathe in their oil..

The "Free Energy" site is interesting, in that folk have, for centuries, devised plans for -- yes -- Free Energy, but can you tell me even one that WORKS.
Flinging wires through magnetic fields is NOT real free energy..

and I for one hope he makes it - we have far too many folk in Parliament whose background is CONTROL, and have no practical experience in running the business called "Australia".

Without TESLA, we might not have PV Panels ! and I would not have had the career that I had followed..
(well perhaps a little over the top.. The likelyhood is that someone else would have discovered the same things, and likely were doing just that.. BUT - It's the FIRST to publish who wins the trophy, and so we remember TESLA )

I can't see benefit in charging my phone as an emergency measure, as I could follow the wires to a certain community ...
and I could chose between two directions..

Lost in the bush about 15 years ago I did indeed walk out by following overhead power lines. The hard part was getting from where I was to the line I could see some distance away, but once there it only took a few hours walking along the power line route before I came to a public road, after which I followed the road to a town and called for help from there.

How much of this stuff is emanating from institutes trying to gain research funding..
WHY would they be hunting funding from folk like Dickie..? .... unless they had NO HOPE of getting that funding from conventional sources..
In the end, even if the research fails, the principals have got their wages for the "Work" undertaken..
