Hi from Sydney

Say g'day and tell us a little bit about yourself if you wish. If you have a wind or solar power system, big or small; flaunt its specs here!

Just joined the group
I have a new 4.8kw LG solar cells these replaced a 2.8 set of BP cells which I had for 10 years
With the new invertor I now get nightly emails telling how much I have generated, mind you I have a Sunny beam which tells me the same thing but stores and graphs it.
I am now with Powershop after being with Energy Australia for many years. They were going to charge me for a smart meter whereas Powershop it is 'free'
Go Solar my new installation is 1/2 the price and twice the size (roughly for the same number of panels

Welcome to the Energy Matters Forums David :)

Was there a problem with the 10 year-old BP panels you replaced?

No however the carbon credit offset expired after 10 years.
The company I used for both installations was Solar Tech and they passed on the old solar cells to a friend in Narrabri since they happened to be going there.
I also wanted to update the technology.
