I think that Trev is an amazing car, and quite sleek for one of a better word. Although I drive a holden and I am used to plenty of leg room, and personally I would not want to be seen driving a little hyundai or similar, but I would be more than happy to be seen driving a car which does not leave a smell behind it as it drives. If this car was to hit the commercial market I would buy one. I am proud that australian students are striving to get an electric car out there in the commercial market. also, good choice for the rims hahah...
Good work :D

Wow, that really does sound pretty impressive.
Is there a downside I'm missing? :-}

Indeed Trev sounds good and almost certainly is --- for some people.
Much of my commuting around town involves picking up kids from school and getting them to sports practice etc. so I NEED four seats.
Build the car that suits my needs and I can afford and I WILL buy it.
Unfortunately, for me, Trev is only a stepping stone towards that car.
1.5 kW PV and solar hot water installed Nov 2011.

Sorry to put a downer on it but its not impressive, i've seen it.
There's nothing in that's particularly new and refreshing,its like the cocoon is the most interesting bit.
It looks like how can we make it on the cheap? Even the display had issues, like waiting for it to boot,it was over complicated could probably use a microcontroller to do the job simpler.
Good on them for driving around the world though, heard they had fueling issues as with ev's generally, solution might be, from a sparky point of view, flying fused leads with croc clips, can get power from anywhere. If they use a Zivan charger with a wide voltage input 110V no issue.
