Could knock your own up for easy from a few grand, crystalyte motor and controller, LIPO's from EV Works. I've built the cheapo 250 watter yars ago but just bought a giant to convert, need a solid bike to handle the extra weight and torques. Now LIPO's are viable.

ah haa, I couldnt find the size hub motor the bomber or fighter had.
16x Nth Garage CMS2000-1 with 2960W in 2 strings of 8.
NW facing SMA 3000HF with 4380W
12x ZNShine panels on 1 string + 12x 180W Solarfuns on the other.
Edwards Solar Hot water

Luck Favours the well prepared.

Similar Crystalyte motor to bomber,
group buy on endless sphere http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewto ... crystalyte
A123's, 100V@20AH and a Kelly controller all up approx 3.5-4k will probably leave a bomber bombing IMHO lol.

Lyen controller on a half decent motor, add frame then sell to mugs for $6500+

Lyen controller $200
Hyena 4k motor kit $1200
Decent bike $1000

Two days work, do the math!

Motor hubs in kW ratings are best followed up on Endless Sphere where guys have been building them for years and know the go.
I've ordered 2 beasts from Hyena and expecting soon 8-)
Got 22 x 20AH pouches want more and a crystalyte 72V to mod for more :geek:
Custom 1.2kW chargers x 3 from old servers have been charging 7 pouches @ around 3C.
Might put this kit on my Giant Strata but not sure it only has front fork suspension.
Up and going in a month or so .
The Aussie blokes knocking them together are hoping to get together at the end of the builds for a burn YEEEHHAAAA.
Anyone one else interested i can help and/or goto the ES forums.
